Well this classic , can be called as the Mother of all Feel-Good movies !! :) Its Soooo very feel good , that it has become an american traditin and a Christmas movie there !! There aint a single christmas without this flick on TV !! :) And its just not feel-good , but has some staunch msgs in it as well !! Its one of courage and sacrifice for the greater good as Bailey, a man with big ideas about seeing the world, continually forsakes his own desires to do what is right for his town. The second message is that each of our lives is important. No matter how insignificant we feel we are, we are all inextricably linked to each other and play an important part in the fabric of one another's lives. LOL.. Thats Chaos theory for U !! Who would ve thought that a 1946 theory would ve explained Chaos theory when no one knew what thius theory was !! :)

A Trivia for u that i got from IMDB : It was nominated for five academy awards that year and won NONE. It was swept by `The Best Years of Our Lives', a film that won seven Oscars that year , but history has made this Movie way on top than its Oscar competitor !! Yep.. Its in 30 whereas BEst years of our lives is in the 180's !! :)
