Well , am still recovering from the SHOCK of my life !!!! Just now hopped to the IMDB Top 250 to write review the next movie on my list !! And MAN !! Am shocked to the core !! I found the Dark Knight at No.4 yesterday !! And now , i cant believe to see it at No.1 !!!!!!!!!! How can it be possible for it to beat movies like the Godfather and shawshank Redemption ?!!! Its a Super hero movie for Gods sake !!!! Well, I could not make any more further comments on this , because i have nt seen the movie yet !! Am watchin it tomorrow or the day after , and i ll be back to say whether it truly deserves the No.1 Spot !!!

Just for information - Two weeks back , Wall-e debuted at No.4 in IMDB Top 250 , Now it has got down to No.22 and still decreasing down the ladder ! Think(and i hope) the same thing willl happen to the Dark Knight too !! We have to wait and see for what happens !!

The Dark Knight in top 1? that fast? wow! look at the second in rank, it was decades ago. whats with Dark Knight to surpass The Godfather?

Dark knight at the top is no surprise to me ..
it rocks especially for the Joker in the movie.. He would definitely win an oscar for his performance in this movie..

this movie rocks you like anything.. this ones more close to reality than any other superhero movie i have seen

this movie to have toppled godfather is a surprise since its a classic movie.. but look at the number of votes.. only a month or two after release could give you the exact rating of the movie ..

Anyway, it was so enlightening and touching, I almost cried. He saved the surviving Jewish population in Europe now by having them work on his pot business... He even tricked Hitler to save a few. Later though he was convicted, afterall he did. So sad.

Yup Bridge , Its one of my all time favts too ! :) Don know how on earth Dark Knight surpassed all such Classics to come to the top ! :)

It is so superficial. The plot and the scenes are both illusions, they're out of this world. It brings you to a whole new world completely eccentric and superficial.

Such a BS ranking system. I dont agree. The Dark Knight aint even in the top 10 off all time movies.
