Looking beyod the 250 - My Little Bride

Well this one surely does not deserve a place in the IMDB top 250 or something , but ever since i saw this one, i ve been waiting to write about it !! Its just the third or the fourth Korean movie i have seen , and my expectations were lot ever since i saw "My Sassy Girl" - which had left me in splits and as i ve told earlier - made me fell in love with it !! But you cant expect the same with My Little Bride !! Well , you just cant compare each and every movie with My Sassy girl !! Its a cult classic by now ! Coming to the point , there are movies that make you laugh in bits and movies that make you smile through-out !! Well My Little Bride belongs to the latter genre !! I saw the entire movie with a wide smile on my face- although there was never a stomach-aching moment that leaves you in splits ! And i was thorughly surprised too - as the plot is very common with the culture here in india ! Girls compelled by families to get married very early and the troubles they face ! And one other thing i loved even more than My Sassy girl here was the acting - because i thought the gal in Sassy gal was over the top at some places , but here its just fine !! So this one can be your awesome cup of tea on a rainy saturday evening !! :)

Hey. I love this movie. So you, too, are into Korean movies. I had a review on A Moment To Remember. Have you watched it?

Hey Jus read your Moment to Remember review.. Seems its a Melodrama ! Wil watch it for sure - but am not in the mood for melodramas now ! :) How about Korean Comedies ?! I loved both My sassy girl and now My little bride ! Can you suggest me Korean comedies such as these ? I wd love to watch ! By the way the other Korean movies i ve seen are Old-boy ( a psycho thriller that i loved) and Christmas in august(another Melodrama)

My Sassy Girl was the first Korean movie I've watched. I have watched mny Korean films and they always seem to have that funny start but sad ending. hehe. Have you watched Windstruck, it's like the part 1 of my sassy girl. the ending there is at the train station, where they met at the movie my sassy girl. :)
