Well , its been a long time - but it was during 1996 that i visited Atlanta,Georgia to witness the Summer Olympics 96 held there - invited by my uncle who lives in Downtown Atlanta ! It truly is an unforgettable experience and will live in my memory for always ! Although the Olympics were heald only in the Centennial park , near the CNN Center and Philips arena - i also had the oppurtunity to go to the various hot spots of Atlanta City !! Some of the places i went around include the various parks such as the Kennesaw Mountain National Park, Grant Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden !! I also remember going to Mission Impossible at the Atlanta Fabulous Fox theater !! :) And another great attraction that i visited in atlanta is the Underground Atlanta !! It consists of some 5 city blocks in the heart of Atlanta that have been transformed into an urban marketplace featuring spectacular restaurants, over 100 specialty shops, and entertainment emporiums, as well as street-cart merchants !! I did not visit Savannah - another major place in Georgia , but then have heard many a thing about its beauty !!
